2019 Meet Sheet
March 23-24 – NE HET Winter Banquet: We’ll meet Saturday, March 23rd at the Red Roof Inn, So. Deerfield, at 3:00 PM, poolside. Bring snacks and beverage of choice. We’ll send out for pizza around 6:00. The cost will be around $5. On Sunday, March 24th, some will get breakfast at the Sugar House. Then at noon we’ll meet at the Deerfield Inn for a banquet (food choices below). To reserve a Red Roof Inn room please call 800-733-7663. Use code B289HET323 for a rate of $69.99 plus taxes. Rooms are non-smoking, have 2 queen beds, a fridge and microwave. 10 rooms are blocked off, but you must reserve by February 23rd 2019. Food order form available in the Nor’ by Nor’ East newsletter. May 4 – Audrain Auto Museum Meet + Coffee & Cars, Newport, RI: The Audrain Auto Museum hosts a Cars & Coffee meet twice a month. On May 4, the meet will be at Fort Adams from 7:30AM to 10:00AM. The location is 80 Fort Adams Drive, Newport, RI, 02840. Following the meet, we will head over to the Audrain Auto Museum at 222 Bellevue Ave, Newport RI 02840 to view their brass era cars exhibit. Entry cost is $10 for seniors and $15 for adults. Parking is located across the street for a nominal fee. Details on the museum can be found here: https://audrainautomuseum.org. In the case of rain, we can continue with just the museum portion of the meet starting at 10AM.
May 10-12 – The New Doc’s Meet, Winchester, VA: This is a multi-day event that includes a trip to a local AACA car show and a dinner Saturday night. Details can be found in the linked PDF. For questions, call Paul O’Malley at 304-856-2042.
May 17-18 – Eastern Regional, Helen, GA:Members of the Dixie Chapter are pleased to host the 2019 Eastern Regional Meet in the Alpine village of Helen, Georgia. Located in the state’s northeast mountains, Helen is a regional tourist destination identified primarily by its Bavarian architecture and its annual month-long Oktoberfest celebration. It is also a shopper’s paradise with many unusual stores and numerous outdoor sites and activities. Details can be found in the here. June 1 – National Planning Meet, Burlington, VT: This is our second “Get Acquainted” weekend with the Double Tree. Prepare for 2020! Double Tree by Hilton, 870 Williston Rd, Burlington, VT 05403 Exit 14W off I-89.

June 23 – McWalter’s Meet, Lunenburg, MA: 178 Leominster Rd. Lunenburg, MA. (978) 582-4713. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided by the hosts. Please bring a dish to share. There will be a cruise to Cherry Hill Ice Cream.
Directions: On Rte. 495, for those coming from the North, take Exit 29B, or 29A if coming from the South, toward Leominster, and turn onto Rte. 2. It is 9.7 miles to Exit 35 (Rte. 70). Turn towards Lunenburg. Go 1.2 miles and turn left at end of road, at stop sign. Go 1⁄2 mile and take a right on Lancaster Ave. just after John Deere Dealer. Go 4.1 miles and turn left at bandstand, just before lights. Go left on Leominster Road. We are 1⁄2 miles on right. A Hudson product and sign will be parked at the end of the driveway.

July 21 – 35th Annual Codman Estate Antique Auto Classic Car Show, Lincoln, MA: From 8am-1pm. Located at 34 Codman Rd, Lincoln, MA $5. Members, $10 Non-Members.
July 16-21 – International Meet, Bettendorf, IA: The Central Iowa Chapter is excited to host the 2019 International Meet! Our concept for this meet was to find an outstanding hotel (done), with great room rates (check), and a few outstanding events at a reasonable cost (see below!), fantastic parking lots for our Hudsons (check), shaded swap meet space (check), short distance between rooms, meeting spaces, and Hudsons (check) and plenty of space for Hudson folk to sit together and talk in air conditioning (check and check). July 26-27 – 21st Annual Rambler Regional & Reunion Car Show & Swap Meet, Boxboro, MA: Show registration – 8am-12pm on 7/27. Car show 10am-4pm. $15 Registration for show cars. Spectators are Free. August 4 – Cruising on the Main, Manchester, CT: 10am-3pm. Cars line up and down Main Street. Shops, vendors, and restaurants. September 14 – Petridis Fifth Annual Fall Car Picnic, Foglesville, PA: 2934 Grundsau Ct. Fogelsville, PA 18051. Meet starts at 11AM. The Petridis family will supply hotdogs, burgers, wings, sausages and peppers, beer, soda, wine. Please bring a lawn chair and a covered dish or dessert. October 20 – Webers’ Annual Meet / Business Meeting, North Attleboro, MA: From the North: Take 1-95 south to Exit 8, US RT 1S, (Gillette Stadium); Follow US Rt. 1 South past the Stadium to Route 106. Turn right on Route 106 toward Plainville Center. NOTE: RT. 106 ends. Go straight across onto West Bacon Street. Follow West Bacon Street for about 1 mile. This street bears to the left twice. (NOTE: West Bacon St. becomes West Street in North Attleboro. Weber’s driveway is on the left. Just past the old stone railroad abutments. HET signs will be posted.
