Mar 16-17: 2023 NEC Winter Banquet, Deerfield, MA: We will meet at the Red Roof Inn (9 Greenfield Rd, South Deerfield, MA 01373) on Saturday, March 16 around 3 PM Pool side. The Red Roof has reserved a selection of rooms from $124 for a King or $120 for 2 Queens before taxes. This includes fridge and microwave. You must call 1-800-733-7663 before February 16, 2024, use Reference #B289NEC316 to reserve your room. As per last year please bring snacks, preferred beverage and we’ll collect $ and send out for Pizza around 6:00 for Saturday evening dinner. Sunday some of us will enjoy breakfast at Williams Sugar House (on your own). We’ll then go to The Deerfield Inn (81 Old Main St, Deerfield, MA, 01342) for Dinner. The Inn is handicap accessible. The club is subsidizing $10 per member max $20 for 2 members.

Arrive between 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm. Lunch will be serviced at 1:00 pm.

The club is subsidizing $10 per member max $20 for 2. Each meal is $62 for Non-NEC Members and $52 for NEC members. Choose from:

  2. Herb Crusted White Fish
  3. Slow Roasted Turkey

Each meal comes with cheese and cracker platter, a baby green salad, and seasonal sides. Coffee/Tea, bread/butter and Seasonal Fruit Crisp are also included.

Jun 15-16: Inaugural Bay State Motor Festival, Framingham, MA:

The two day Festival begins on Saturday, June 15, with the Framingham History Center presenting two lectures exploring the history of automobiles made in Framingham. One lecture will feature the little-known “Bay State” automobile, manufactured in Framingham from 1922-1925, Another will explore Framingham’s GM plant history (1946-1989) from the perspective of its employees – many still living in the region.

On Sunday, June 16, the Festival will present a car show at the historic Cushing Memorial Park, with hundreds of automobiles ranging from classics to modern marvels. Visitors that day will enjoy an interactive “Made in Massachusetts” car exhibition featuring Framingham-built Oldsmobiles, Pontiacs, Buicks and Chevys, and the sole surviving Bay State sedan; Springfield-built Rolls-Royces, Brewsters, and Indian motorcycles; Boston 1792 Thayer Hand Pumper; Waltham-built Metz, Stanley Steamer and Orient bike and buckboards; Natick-built Northway trucks; Amesbury-built Bailey Electrics; and others.

The meet will start at around 11:00 AM and at 2:15 PM we’ll head to Cherry Hill Ice Cream at 826 Leominster Rd, Lunenburg, MA. Jul 14 – Firestone/Gasper Meet, Manchester, CT: Join us at Gaspers Automotive Restoration at 330 Main Street, Manchester, CT 06040. Burgers, dogs, and drinks will be provided. Please bring a dish to share and a chair (if you have one). Meeting from 10am-2pm. Gaspers specializes in the restoration of antique fire trucks.

Jul 21-22 – Eastern Regional Meet, Erie, PA: See Below

Jul 23-27 – 63rd International HET Meet, Erie, PA: The Western Reserve Chapter and the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club are excited to invite you to make your hotel reservations for the 2024 International Hudson Meet in Erie, PA. We will be celebrating the 90th Birthday of the 1934 Hudson and Terraplane. The 2024 Eastern Regional Meet will be Sunday July 21 and Monday July 22 with the business meeting on Monday afternoon. The 2024 International Hudson Meet will be Tuesday July 23 through Saturday July 27th with the Banquet on Saturday evening. It will be held at the Ambassador Banquet and Conference Center in Erie, Pa with the two connected hotels being our hosts: Courtyard by Marriott and Hilton Garden Inn. Sep 7 – Maine Classic Car Museum, Arundel, ME: Join us for an afternoon visiting one of Maine’s best orphan car museums. Cost is $10 per person. Arrive between 11:00-11:30. We will bring in lunch (pizza) and drinks at 12:30PM compliments of the chapter. If you have special dietary requirements, you may need to bring your own food. Please bring a chair to sit on as we’ll do lunch outside in the court yard. May 18-20: 2023 Eastern Regional Meet, Lake George, NY: 

The Hudson Mohawk and New England Chapters are pleased to announce that the 2023 Eastern regional will be held May 18-20 in Lake George, NY at the Comfort Inn 4054 NY-9L, E Shore Dr., Lake George, NY 12845. When you call to register at the hotel please let them know you are with the Hudson Car Club – rates are $99 Thursday and $119 on Friday & Saturday (does not includes taxes). This Hotel is about ¾ mile from Interstate 87.

We’re working with a local caterer for Saturday dinner at the Hotel, getting our own private room for HET Eastern regional meeting. Dinner should be about $45 per person; dinner rolls, salad, vegetable medley, mac & cheese, Chicken Marsala, sliced London Broil and dessert.

Lake George offers all sorts of fun things to do. If you arrive early on Thursday, the Hemmings cruise night is about an 1 ½ hour drive (60 miles away) in Bennington VT.

May 21 – 12th Annual Boothe Memorial Park Antique & Classic Car Show: 5744 Main Street Putney, Stratford, CT 06613. Event from 9am to 4pm.

Beautiful Park setting car show presented by the Port 5 Naval Veterans of Bridgeport, CT. This is an Official Connecticut Cruise News Ring Event with 10 Rings to be awarded as well as many Special Awards and Field Trophies.

$15 per show vehicle – no cut-off year!

The Ladies Auxiliary will have a bake sale and a large selection of raffle baskets with fabulous prizes. Food sold will include egg sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, and other hot sandwiches.

The Park has many free events from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Features blacksmithing, model trains, art show, rose garden, live music, demonstrations and tours of historic buildings. Jul 28-29 – 25th Annual Rambler Regional & Reunion Car Show and Swap Meet, Boxboro, MA: Hosted by the 4 Seasons Rambler Club at the Boxboro Regency Hotel & Conference Center. Welcome all AMC, Rambler, Nash, Hudson, Metropolitan, and pre-’88 Jeep, plus Chrysler Corp cars (1980 and earlier). Show cars $15, vending and spectators are free. Aug 26 – Connecticut Chapter of American Motors Owners Association (CAMO) 28th Annual Regional Meet: Southington Drive-In – 995 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike, Southington, CT. Registration 8am-11:30. Sep 9 – Cataumet Schoolhouse Antique Auto Show, Bourne, MA: 12PM to 4PM, The Cataumet Schoolhouse presents the 15th Annual Antique Auto Show and Picnic. Come and enjoy the ambiance of a 19th Century one room schoolhouse featuring and array of old automobiles, 1920’s Jazz and the Barking Claw Food truck with lobster rolls. 1200 Country Rd, Cataumet, MA 02534. (New Date) Oct 15 – Webers’ Annual Meet / Business Meeting,  North Attleboro, MA:  From the North: Take 1-95 south to Exit 8, US RT 1S, (Gillette Stadium); Follow US Rt. 1 South past the Stadium to Route 106. Turn right on Route 106 toward Plainville Center. NOTE: RT. 106 ends. Go straight across onto West Bacon Street. Follow West Bacon Street for about 1 mile. This street bears to the left twice. (NOTE: West Bacon St. becomes West Street in North Attleboro. Weber’s driveway is on the left. Just past the old stone railroad abutments. HET signs will be posted. If you come to a stop sign, you have passed the driveway. The address is 183 West Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760.

  • Bring you own chairs. I can supply tables for family groups.
