Mar 21-22: 2025 NEC Winter Banquet, Keene, NH: Join us for a weekend of fun in Keene, NH at the 2025 Winter Banquet. The banquet is on Sunday, March 22 from 1pm-4pm in the Dublin Room of Tempesta’s, located within the Best Western Plus Hotel. If you’d like to come up on Saturday, March 21, we will meet at the breakfast room in the hotel around 3PM. Use of this room is for the NEC to socialize, snack, and bring your preferred beverage. At 6pm, pizza will be brought in.
The Best Western Plus Keene, NH is located at 401 Winchester St, Keene, NH at the junction of route 10 and route 12. Room rates are $129.00 plus tax for a king or 2 doubles. The hotel is handicap accessible. The group rate is under the Hudson Essex Terraplane LLC. Reservations can be made at 603-357-3038. Hotel guests receive free hot breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. The breakfast features waffles, fresh fruits, sweet pastries, yogurt, juices and coffee/tea.
Banquet price is $65.00 per person with a $10 discount for NEC members and significant other. Dinner will be serviced buffett style. A veggie pasta Primavera dish is available upon request. Please indicate when RSVP’ing.

May 4-8: Eastern Regional, Dahlonega, GA: The meet will be hosted by the Dixie Chapter in Dahlonega, Georgia. Dahlonega, nestled in Northern Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, was the site of America’s first Gold Rush. Local attractions include the Gold Museum, the University of North Georgia, an historic General Store, the English Tea Room and the famous Fudge Factory. Nearby, in Cartersville, are the spectacular Savoy Auto Museum, the Booth Western Art Museum and the Tellus Science Museum. You may also want to visit the Miles Through Time Automotive Museum, the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame in Dawsonville, and several local wineries open for tours.
The host hotel is the Comfort Inn & Suites, 835 S. Chestatee Street, Dahlonega GA 30533. Rate $99/night (if booked before April 1)
Business Meeting and dinner will be held on May 6 at The Smith House Restaurant, 84 S. Chestatee Street. (Southern style cooking, served family style.)

Jun 28: Annual McWalter Family Meet, Lunenburg, MA: 178 Leominster Rd. Lunenburg, MA. Burgers and dogs will be provided by the hosts. Please bring a dish to share. The meet will start at around 11:00 AM and at 2:15 PM we’ll head to Cherry Hill Ice Cream at 826 Leominster Rd, Lunenburg, MA. Sep XX: Maine Classic Car Museum, Arundel, ME: Join us for an afternoon visiting one of Maine’s best orphan car museums. Cost is $10 per person. Arrive between 11:00-11:30. We will bring in lunch (pizza) and drinks at 12:30PM compliments of the chapter. If you have special dietary requirements, you may need to bring your own food. Please bring a chair to sit on as we’ll do lunch outside in the court yard. After lunch, you can continue to walk the museum or head home. 2564 Portland Road (US Route 1), Arundel, Maine 04046. Oct 17: Larz Anderson Extinct & Vintage Car Day, Brookline, MA: 15 Newton St., Brookline, MA. https://www.larzanderson.org/event-details/extinctvintage 9AM to 1PM. Save money and register online in advance. $30 per vehicle including driver + $10 for each passenger. Spectators – Adults $15, Seniors $10, Children over 6 years old $10.
Date TBD: Webers’ Annual Meet / Business Meeting, North Attleboro, MA: 183 West Street, North Attleboro, MA 02760. From the North: Take I-95 south to Exit 8, US RT 1S, (Gillette Stadium); Follow US Rt. 1 South past the Stadium to Route 106. Turn right on Route 106 toward Plainville Center. NOTE: RT. 106 ends. Go straight across onto West Bacon Street. Follow West Bacon Street for about 1 mile. This street bears to the left twice. (NOTE: West Bacon St. becomes West Street in North Attleboro. Weber’s driveway is on the left. Just past the old stone railroad abutments. HET signs will be posted. If you come to a stop sign, you have passed the driveway. Starts after 10AM.
